Just what the name says much. It’s not even once I turn off PSO2 Meseta my PC, but I leave it on sleep mode overnight. Anyone know a fix for this? I’m tired of needing to reinstall it once I want to play it. Can I still be able to play on the NA servers and also have my characters out of NA? Yes, you uninstall some hint of PSO2 and install completley via tweaker, it needs a bit of techy knowledge but guide for it is fairly detailed. The most”techy” thing you’ll have to do is to enable Developer Mode on Windows 10 and also go to the folder where you will install teh game to place the PowerShell script. After you conduct the PowerShell script, you will have the Microsoft Store version set up, connected, and totally detached from the Microsoft Store.
Not entirely true, if he has PSO2 installed on his pc even though he uninstalls it through control panel there’s still a folder sitting out there with over 60gb of information only rotting that he would have to go in and manually remove. If you are talking about the PSO2 Tweaker’s installation, that thankfully then isn’t really protected by additional permissions and the users themselves can easily delete those files in that case. Otherwise it isn’t too difficult when you have tools such as 7zip available but I’d recommend being careful about what you are deleting just to be sure.
Yea, simply install it to c:/PSO2 you are done and then you are going to have to download about 11gb in the me shop. Launch PSO2 tweaker check and every time for updates and you are good to go. “The download the first 11gb in the Microsoft Store” is still prone to deletions and saves on WindowsAppsModifiable Programs. Two computers mine were installed this manner and got their games wiped. In this scenario tweaker handles downloading the updates to the installation folder that is Windows managed and windows can delete your own game.
On the tweaker you’ll be able to select you haven’t set up PSO2 and it will download the match for you. This is where you may choose the install directory where a folder outside Program Files (Like the C:.) is recommended and to not put in on Program Documents or other windows created folders. This will make it completely independent from the shop and nothing will be able to touch your files.
I’d the tweaker and the tweaker is not currently working for me. I’ve reinstalled PSO2 4 times now and whenever that I start the tweaker it asks me to open a microsoft app to start pso2, it all leads to the PSO2 microsoft shop. Once I comfirm it, PSO2 reinstalls AGAIN. AFAIK PSO2 isn’t over 100 gigs. So there shouldnt be a reason for it to redownload over and over. I have been playing with the tweaker because june 1st, but its totally borked and not functioning properly for me. I’m downloading PSO2 through the Microsoft store expecting that’s the sole PSO2 it will download. I have been at this for over 2 hours with no avail.
